The Adam Ballroom and Tapestry Room is the most popular area of Hopetoun for wedding receptions. Guests are welcomed with a log fire in the entrance hall before entering the Tapestry Room, resplendent with stunning Eighteenth Century tapestries to await the arrival of the Bridal Party. With a roaring log fire in winter or with doors open to the Colonnade in summer, this is the perfect room to treat your guests to champagne and canapés served by uniformed staff whilst the Bride and Groom have photographs taken in the manicured grounds.

Red Drawing RoomThe Adam Ballroom seats from 80 to 250 guests with ample space for dancing and entertainment. On entering this room, the strong sense of space and historic grandeur together with the fabulous Aubusson tapestries, sparkling chandeliers and floral displays of your choice cannot fail to impress your guests. After the banquet, the Tapestry Room can be used as a cocktail bar.

The Adam Stables Courtyard EntranceAdam Stables and Carriage Room
The Adam Stables is best suited for wedding receptions of up to 100 guests. The recent refurbishment has given the area a chic yet historic air that lends itself well to elegant, contemporary wedding receptions. The private courtyard entrance can be decorated with dramatic flambeau or other lighting effects to create a memorable experience and the original stone flooring and soft lighting in the main room combine to create a unique ambience. On arrival, guests can enjoy refreshments in the Carriage Room whilst awaiting the arrival of the Bridal Party and once the banquet is over it can be used as a cocktail bar area. As the evening progresses, the private courtyard can be used for alternative entertainment or as a quiet space to cool down after dancing.
